Welcome to Gildersome Primary School
So much happens at our school that we are constantly updating our website. To get a real taste of what makes us so special I recommend you browse as many of our pages as possible. For a quick glance I would suggest reading our monthly newsletters. The stories they contain embody our key values of achieving the highest possible academic standards whilst nurturing the qualities of creativity, independence and self-confidence in our children.
Pupils at Gildersome Primary School are between the ages of 4 and 11. The school is situated in an attractive residential area within Gildersome, Leeds and is part of the Morley Family of Schools. The ‘family’ gives a smooth and natural progression in learning for our pupils and the schools have close links with each other. This ensures that subjects and initiatives are developed across Primary and High schools.
We work hard to create and sustain a warm, welcoming and caring atmosphere within which staff, pupils, their families and visitors to the school feel accepted and secure. The very positive and inclusive ethos is characterised by excellent relationships within school and between the school and each child’s home. We want everyone who works in or visits our school to enjoy the experience and to feel the satisfaction of making a positive and valued contribution.
I hope that you enjoy finding out about our school. If you would like to visit please contact us in order that we can agree a mutually convenient time.
