The Magic Porridge Pot

This week we have been reading the book 'The Magic Porridge Pot.' We have coloured, cut and roleplayed with the characters. We made marks in porridge, worked at the Nursery café and thought about which bag of porridge oats was the heaviest or lightest. We also talked about the difference between a full and empty bowl, experimented with bicarbonate of soda and vinegar and followed instructions to make our own porridge to taste.
To raise awareness for anti-bullying week we have shared our ideas on how we can be kind to our friends and talked about the differences between all kinds of people.
We had lots of spotty fun on Friday for Children in Need.
