Great Gildersome Bake Off - Year 3

Anna Head (a.head) on: Year 3 Blog - 2019-20

In Year 3, the children have been very busy baking extraordinary cakes for a chance to win Great Gildersome Bake Off!

All entries knocked our socks off and Paul Hollywood would have definitely been giving out lots of handshakes!

Here are the entries:

DRUM ROLL PLEASE...........................

The winners are:
3B Winners are:
3rd place: Lexi Bownass for her Mickey Mouse cake (she should have been visiting Mickey himself in Florida but couldn't go because of the virus)
2nd place: Joseph Kiss for his showstopper chocolate cake
1st place: Connie Peasgood for her beautiful Victoria sponge with fresh strawberries. Apologies to Connie's mum that the home schooling activities for this week weren't too kind on the waistline.
3W winners are:
3rd place: Chelsea-Mia Sawyer for her cake dedicated to everyone she is missing at school.
2nd place: Lucas Broadhead for his Apex Pathfinder cake.
1st place: Millie Feeny for her NHS rainbow cake which she has dedicated to her grandma who she is missing during lockdown.

Thank you so much for all of your wonderful entries!
Miss Wren and Mrs Barnes
