Today the children went up onto the field to enjoy the sunshine. They made dens out of wood/sticks that they could find and played a game of rounders!

Optional activities for the Easter holidays

Anna Head (a.head) on: Year 4 Blog

As the weeks beginning 6th and 13th of April are the dates of the Easter holidays, we will not be setting the usual learning tasks on Microsoft Teams. However, during these unusual times, we understand that you may want some suggestions of activities that you could do at home. There is a short list attached that you may want to use. There is no expectation from school that you do them, we just thought you might welcome some ideas to help keep you occupied!

We have also attached an optional Maths and Literacy Easter themed workbook if you wanted to do more (the answers are there to be looked at  AFTER you have completed the tasks ). Plus don't forget you can use Education City, Purple Mash and Times Table Rock Stars.

Have a wonderful Easter everybody and we will see you back on Microsoft Teams on the 20th April, if we are not in school.

Home Learning

Anna Head (a.head) on: Year 4 Blog

Hello everyone.

We are nearly at the end of our first home learning week! =)

It has been wonderful to see that so many of you have been doing the work that we have set daily!  We have also had some lovely chats on our chat page, which has meant that we have all been able to keep in touch and make each other smile. This morning 4J told each other jokes! It has also been great to hear what other activities you have been doing- Aidan and Orla made delicious looking muffins, Libby made some chocolate chip cookies, Max has been doing some gardening and many of us have been doing the workout by Joe Wicks every morning. Keep up the good work and remember to send us your photographs and messages.

Education City

Anna Head (a.head) on: Year 4 Blog

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you are all well!

We have uploaded some work on Education City that is focused on some science work we did at the beginning of the year.

We will continue to add more work like this over the coming weeks.

Education City is a really useful platform that will allow you to build on what you already know!

It looks great too!

If anyone has any issues with logging in, just let us know and we will try and sort it out for you.

Keep safe.

Mrs Johnson & Mr Reid
