We're coming to the end of our first week working at home and I imagine it has been quite strange for all of you.  I'm certainly finding it very different.  At the moment the teachers are still going into school a few times a week to look after the children who are still coming in.  Mrs Hoyle has also set us lots of tasks/homework to do while we're at home so we're all being kept busy which is a good thing!

If you find you have finished your reading book you need to make sure that you are still reading books at the right level for you.  They need to be a bit challenging, but not so much that you don't understand what you are reading.

The link below might be useful as it will take you to some on-line books that will match your current reading level.

There are also some other useful links on the GPS Reading blog, so have a look at that as well.  Remember it is good to read a wide range of books - fiction and non-fiction.  Hopefully most of you will read for pleasure as well as for your school work. It's also great to listen to stories being read to you.  If you go onto Youtube and search for 'Celebrities reading children's books', there are loads to choose from.

Enjoy your reading, be good and stay safe.
