The Year 5 Great Gildersome Lockdown Bake Off

The Year 5 Great Gildersome Lockdown Bake Off was a HUGE success!
We ended up with 24 amazing bakes, ranging from NHS/Rainbow cakes to chocolate cookies, alien scones to blueberry muffins, chocolate cherry gateaux to flapjacks. All of them looked amazing and delicious and it seemed such a shame that we weren't able to taste them as well as look at them!
All of Year 5 had a chance to vote as did all the staff at school. We received over 50 votes!
The results were as follow:
1st Place - Isabelle Adams for her beautiful NHS Rainbow cake
2nd Place - Ava Connell for her Pool Cake
Joint 3rd Place - William Raynor for his blueberry muffins; Harry Proctor for his chocolate orange cheesecake and Amelia Kiss for her chocolate cake.
