Skeletons

This week in Nursery we have been thinking about our bodies and our skeleton. We have enjoyed reading our book of the week 'Funny bones.'

The children have been using the Play dough to follow the instructions to makes bones for the skeleton. At the mark making table we have been using chalk on black paper to draw skeletons and we have moved our bodies to the skeleton dance on the carpet. The children have also been working their fine motor skills again by using the tweezers to catch the spiders in the web.

We have had lots of interest in jigsaws this week. The children have worked well together and focused their attention for long periods of time. 

If you have any jigsaws that you no longer want, we would really appreciate them and make good use of them.

We have been focusing on the number 3 this week. The children have searched the nursery for things that are 3

Reminder : We are having a Halloween day on Thursday 25th October, your child is welcome to come dressed up in a spooky costume. The PTA have also arranged a Halloween disco for the nursery children on the same day at 2:45 until 3:15. If your child attends the morning session they are welcome to come back at 2:45 for the disco.
