Bonfire celebrations

This week we have been talking about bonfire night. We created fireworks in lots of different ways, sat and talked about safety around the bonfire, used shapes to make rockets, practiced our pencil control and sang bonfire songs.
On Thursday we celebrated Diwali. We read some stories, made Rangoli patterns, created Diya lamps with playdough and made Diwali cards.
Reminder: On Monday 15th November children can wear odd socks to school to raise awareness for anti bullying week.
Friday 19th November is children in need. Your child can come to Nursery wearing something spotty!
