Halloween week

This week in Nursery we have been having lots of Halloween fun! We have read the book of the week 'pumpkin soup ' and the children have then enjoyed making pretend pumpkin soup with our cauldron. We all went to the allotment to find a pumpkin and we made real pumpkin soup later in the week.
We have done lots of Halloween colouring and made amazing pumpkin faces on the light box and at the craft table. We have worked those finger muscles again winding up the Halloween figures and making Halloween shapes in the play dough.
The children have loved exploring our dressing up outfits this week!
We had a great time on Halloween day dancing, playing games and making spider buns.
Thank you very much to the PTA for organising a fab Halloween disco, we had a great time!
School closes on Friday 26th October for half term, we hope you all have a lovely week.
We will see you back at nursery on Monday 5th November.
