Christmas week and party

We have had so much fun in Reception the last week of school.
We have looked at writing words of 'what's in the stocking'. We have done Christmas counting. Christmas spot the difference and lots of Christmas colouring. We have also been busy making Calendars, tree decorations and Christmas Cards to take home.
We have had so much fun on our party day. In the morning we watched Elf on the shelf film. After lunch the real fun began. We played party games like pass the parcel and corners. We had dancing games, musical statues and a best dancer competition.
After all that fun we calmed down a little with party food.
After all the fun of the day it was back to the classroom for a story but the children got really excited because we had a socially distanced visitor of Santa.
