Remembrance Day

On Tuesday 10th November both year 6 classes went to The Cenotaph on Gildersome Green to pay our respects.
We placed our painted poppy pebbles, remembrance crosses and we talked about the sacrifices that has been made so that we could live in freedom. We discussed current conflicts and the brave men and women in our Military.
Evie read the poem, In Flanders Field By John McRae and Luke recited a remembrance prayer.
All the children we very respectful and well behaved.
They all did our school and community proud!
